Ubisoft, It's Time to Address Skull and Bones

There are pressing issues that need to be tackled in Skull and Bones, and it's about time we have an open discussion about them. One of the major concerns is the rampant trolling around Sainte-Anne with the pieces of eight collection spawns. To make matters worse, these spawns yield nothing upon defeat, except for meager amounts of ammo. It's evident that these enemies exist solely to hinder progress and slow down players, causing frustration and prompting some to quit the game prematurely.

The spawn rate of these collection enemies needs to be reined in, or better yet, they should drop loot that makes engaging with them worthwhile. Alternatively, disabling them altogether could alleviate the frustration they cause. It's reminiscent of the frustrating encounters in GTA during solo sell missions, where countless NPCs are spawned to disrupt gameplay and impede earnings.

While I am a fervent supporter of the game, I cannot defend this situation. It's unfair to new players who are trying to enjoy the game, only to have their experience ruined by trolls. Moreover, the tedious process of traversing all the ports every few hours adds unnecessary boredom and feels like a time-wasting chore. As a Kingpin, one would expect some level of delegation or assistance, but instead, players are burdened with menial tasks that offer little reward or satisfaction.

Adding rogue enemies exacerbates the issue, particularly in helm smuggling missions where players are constantly harassed. Unlike helm smuggling, where engaging with rogues can yield valuable loot, collecting pieces of eight from rogues feels like a fruitless endeavor. They often spawn in inaccessible locations, forcing players to wait aimlessly near ports until the threat dissipates. This not only wastes time but also detracts from the overall enjoyment of the game.

In conclusion, while the inclusion of collection and material procurement mechanics is a significant change, it would greatly enhance the gameplay experience to have these tasks automated or accessible remotely. This would allow players to focus on more engaging activities such as events and combat, rather than being bogged down by tedious tasks. Additionally, increasing the silver cost for funding enterprises could add value to in-game currency and incentivize continued engagement beyond reaching the Kingpin rank.

It's time for Ubisoft to address these issues and prioritize the player experience to ensure that Skull and Bones remains an enjoyable and immersive gaming experience for all players.
